As an experienced church musician, Jonathan Palman is very familiar with accompanying a wide range of services, as well as being at ease with choral accompaniment in many traditions. Jonathan has much experience in accompanying soloists, choirs and instrumentalists on both the organ and piano, within sacred and contemporary music. He also has much additional experience accompanying musicians and choirs for secular events outside of church. Having played many organs of all styles, including accompanying services entirely on the piano in venues without an organ, Jonathan is very confident in getting the best possible sound out of any instrument. Regularly working with choirs, Jonathan is perfectly happy to accompany choral music of any complexity. Additionally, he is always willing to assist and advise with choosing music for any service or event if desired, having a strong knowledge of suitable instrumental and choral repertoire for any occasion. He has on several occasions transcribed and arranged orchestral and contemporary works for the organ, striving to deliver whatever music is desired to the highest standard, helping to make an occasion unique, personal and memorable.
